I began offering lifestyle newborn sessions this year to my clients and I am so happy that I did. Connecting and photographing my clients in the comfort of their own homes is something we both can appreciate.

Like any other newborn session, lifestyle newborn sessions are baby-led, meaning that I follow their movements and schedule in order to have a successful photo session instead of having a specific agenda or poses that I’m trying to achieve during the session.

The Manley Family and I first met at the birthday party of a mutual friend—Mom and I began talking about various topics and connected instantly! We both love writing and of course photography, and I was excited to find out that she was a blogger!

I first had the pleasure of photographing the Manley family for their maternity session, and I was so happy to also be able to meet their newborn baby boy.

In addition to capturing photos of the baby and family, I love to capture photos of those special little details that we may forget as the children get older, like the cute decor of the baby’s nursery.
