A Beautiful Engagement Session at the Boardwalk | Charlotte Photographer

Engagement sessions are so nice. It’s a time to capture photos of you and your future spouse at this special time in your lives. The photos can be used for Save the Dates, your wedding website, to display on your wedding day, or just for your own personal photo album.

Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of photographing a long-time friend and her fiance’ for their engagement photos. It was so nice because just a few months earlier, I was in the room cheering with joy as he proposed to her during her birthday celebration. It was a welcome surprise.

We planned the engagement photo session at the Shoppes at University Place (also affectionately known as “The Boardwalk”) in north Charlotte. The Shoppes at University Place is a popular destination for a lot of people because of its fabulous shops and restaurants among a tranquil lake setting.

I loved the colors Christy & Vince chose to wear for their engagement photos, and the most enjoyable part of it all was being able to see and capture the obvious genuine love between the two of them.

Here are a few of my favorite photos from their Charlotte engagement session.

If you are recently engaged and are looking to have an engagement photo session, I would love to discuss with you!
