Hello December | Christmas Mini Session Recap| Charlotte Family Photographer

It’s been a while since I wrote a blog post (the fall busy season is REAL, y’all!), but I'm so happy to share some images from the Christmas mini sessions I held in early November. These families will be able to send out Christmas cards early and enjoy the rest of their holiday season!

I offered these mini sessions November 11th and 12th, and again on November 18th. One of the reasons I like to do them early in November is so that there’s not a rush in editing and ordering Christmas cards once December rolls around! My newsletter subscribers had the first opportunity to register for the mini sessions before I opened availability up to the public. Let me just say these sessions were so much fun!

I was inspired to create this setup in my backyard, right outside my home studio. I was able to use a variety of Christmas props that I’ve collected over the years to enhance the set. The families knew ahead of time what the set would look like so they could coordinate their outfits accordingly. They all looked so beautiful! And the best part of it all was that the weather was pretty mild during our sessions, which made for a great time to take the photos!

Once I put this collage together, I was pretty impressed at how many different ways we were actually able to pose with this couch—lol.

I’m already looking forward to Christmas minis next year! Let me know what you think of these mini sessions in the comments below!

xoxo,
