Meeting awesome families is just one of the great things about my job. I really enjoy interacting with great people, telling the occasional bad joke to get them to relax, and capturing beautiful, genuine expressions in their photos.

The Gary Family was truly a pleasure to spend time with! Mr. Gary contacted me towards the end of the year to schedule a photo session while his oldest son was home from college. It had been many years since they had taken family photos and they knew that now was the right time to do so. Not only were they choosing to document their beautiful family with this photo session, but Mr. and Mrs. Gary were also celebrating 24 years of marriage!

How wonderful.

We started our session at The Green in uptown Charlotte. One of the reasons I love photographing families there is because there are a variety of interesting elements that make for great backgrounds and photography features. It’s also just an outright gorgeous location!

After getting several shots at The Green, we headed over to the Charlotte Convention Center to capture a few additional photos.
